ChopeBook
MVP Launch (2016-2017)
What is ChopeBook?
ChopeBook is a robust iPad-based table management system. Its mission is to help busy restaurant plan ahead for incoming reservation and last minute seating changes. Chope book also allows the restaurant to cater to their customer needs better with an integrated Customer Relationship Management Feature(CRM).
ChopeBook is my first Major Project at Chope, I was on the B2B team and working on it from 2016 - 2017. What is currently shown here might have change to a certain degree, like implementation of new design system, and the vision of its as a SAAS has evolved since I left.
The table plan view allows the user to check on each table status, like a reservation turnaround timing, and if the table has any upcoming reservation. Also by tapping on the table, the operator is able to check the current diner detail or if there are more upcoming reservations for the day.
As some restaurant accepts both walk-ins and reservations. We have integrated the Queue management feature into ChopeBook so that it can pass information directly to the queue display and change up the timings/quotas for queuing customer.
By request of some of our top tier restaurant group, the Gantt Chart serves as a timeline view for tables. Restaurant staff is able to change the turnaround time of a particular reservation on the fly, drag & drop reservations to a different timing and table & slot in last minute walk-ins with proper time estimation.
The CRM allows restaurant staff to record and learn more about. It automatically record diner into the app via Chope Reservations on the B2C end or manual input while making a reservation in ChopeBook directly.
